I am a Central Coast native but am lucky to have seen much of the world thanks to my parents’ international teaching careers. I have lived in Bolivia, Pakistan and Jordan and traveled extensively in the United States, Europe, South America, South East Asia and the Middle East, fueling a lifelong fascination with culture and history. I’ve visited Macchu Pichu and ridden horseback around the Giza Pyramids at moon rise. I even got to live in Petra, Jordan for 6 months while working on the excavation of a 5th century Byzantine Church. It’s no wonder I ended up studying archaeology and earned a BA in Classical and Near Eastern Archaeology from Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania.
I have been a member of the San Luis Obispo Vocal Arts Ensemble since 1994 and have toured Europe and Canada with the group many times, allowing me to indulge both my love of music and love of travel. I am a curious and enthusiastic traveler and enjoy helping clients explore new destinations. Last year I traveled to Antarctica and escorted a group to Cuba. I’m looking forward to seeing British Columbia with the Rocky Mountaineer in the fall.
